Pictures Of House

Pictures say a thousand words,,,,,the demolition is moving right along. Lots of bare walls, (the ones that are left anyway) lots of walls have been torn down, getting them ready for new sheet rock.

The walls that we've removed will give us an open view from the kitchen to the dinning room.

I've attached a couple of pictures for your viewing.

Update

Well things are moving right alone spite the rainy, cold, bone chilling weather for the men. The kitchen has nothing in it, looks really good actually, just bare concrete walls. We decide to take the well down between the den and the kitchen so that Glen can have a view of his darlin while she does what she does best "cook". Guys had to go into attic area to place the support to roof, after Glen's big head go in the way (he almost knocked himself out) and he came back to his right "mind" the were able to get that done.

After the Christmas holiday, next will be foam insulation on the concrete exterior walls, electrial boxes and sheet rock. WOOHOOOO. Before the cabinets are installed I myself will paint the small areas that will need painting. Purchased a window for the kitchen today got a blessing on the price and that too will be installed along with the previous items.

Update to come again later

Demolition Has Begun

Decemember 12, 2009

It was a cold day in Anniston, raining and wind was blowing but the guys moved forward. Heaters (propane) sitting around to keep the worker bees warm.

Electrician (my brother) was there to install new panel box and pull new wires for electrical. Alfred and Rosco (father in law and his friend)we busy tairing cabinets off the walls and tore the wall down between the den and kitchen. They were happy old men with crow bars.

I came back to Georgia, I couldn't stand the mess they were making, me and my OCD self.

Stay tuned for next update.
